First Kickers


For all children aged 4 and 5. (Birth Years 2017 & 2018)

The First Kickers program uses a game format based upon research and recommendations from National Coaching Programs and Educational research.

​The intent is to make the soccer ball the players favorite toy.  First Kickers are assigned teams and training games are used where all players are actively involved with a ball. 



For all children aged 6 through to 19. (Birth years 2004 - 2016)

The Recreational Program covers two seasons per year (Fall and Spring) we work with hundreds of young players to develop their soccer skills, their social abilities, and their athletic prowess in our Recreational Program.  Our volunteer coaches are overseen by a dedicated Recreational Director and our Recreational program is focused on continuing the technical development of the players and identifying those who could play in our Competitive programs.



For all children aged 6 through to 13 (Birth Years 2009 - 2016)

FC Foot Skills is players working individually and in small groups on soccer dribbling moves, technical touches as well as working at your own speed to learn them. FC Foot Skills will improve your players ability on the ball!   Intense work on individual development of technique. 

This program is open to recreational players U7-U14.

FC Futures Director, Coach Jack Byrd, will direct all training sessions.  Coach Byrd will direct all training sessions, jamborees and intramural games.  The FC Futures provides additional player development opportunities for the identified players.



For children aged 9 through to 19, selected through a tryout.

FC Sarasota's Competitive Travel Program is devoted to developing young athletes with the main emphasis and focus being the Player. This program provides your child to play soccer at a higher level than the Recreational Program can offer.  Our teams strive to represent our core values: pride, passion, and perseverance.

Practice Plus (PP) is an additional program for competitive players. The program will feature professional coaching in the areas of technical, mental, tactical, psychological and nutrition. The program will take place on Friday nights with one-hour sessions on a weekly basis with different topics covered. The goal is to maximize performance and increase rate of development.

Adult League


For all over 21 with children currently registered with FC Sarasota.

FC Adult league is coed, recreational, and for all skill levels. '

The games are intended to be fun and are only open to CURRENT parents of players within FC Sarasota. 

TOPS Soccer


US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 4-19, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US YOUTH SOCCER family.
